Radiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the detection of diseases and injuries, that is, diagnostics. Radiological techniques are used to visualize the human body and its parts in order to reveal the existence of pathological changes, which would then be treated in a timely manner. Almost all organs and parts of the body can be examined with ultrasound, starting from the brain (in newborns), heart, blood vessels of abdominal organs, prostate, genitals (in women), all the way to the eye, lymph nodes and glands, soft tissues, bones and joints.
